With all the recent hype surrounding the upcoming GE I started thinking about how I felt as well - I was bored and decided that if I'm in Singapore at the moment and the opposition party came knocking on my door, I have two questions to ask them - I'm curious to know about their policies, in particular ones which address the growing dissatisfaction felt amongst singaporeans about the influx of foreign workers, and their views on the disillusionment that many people feel about the constant pursuit of wealth. Am actually genuinely excited about the election results. Not so much looking out for any immediate policies effected by alternative voices, but more curious to find out if times are really a-changing, as so many people have touted this GE to be one about 'change'. Not sure at all but ah well, I just blogged my 2c about politics instead of food and pretty bags, so I guess the world is always full of surprises.
